Android development - changing View.OnClick to View.OnTouch

by Idios   Last Updated January 13, 2018 09:05 AM

I am using a library to create an overlay in android, and I'd like to have it react to touches instead of clicks (clicks require the user to "untouch" the display to trigger).

Most of my changes are here, and in recent issues: https://github.com/IdiosApps/android-global-overlay/commit/6144bbd9d95df5dfd4afdc6d0480f5005fe3fa12

My android studio is using the latest pushed version of this code (app build.grade has the dependency " implementation 'com.github.idiosapps:android-global-overlay:v0.9'").

These screenshots shows an error about OnClick being expected by a method, although I have changed that method to accept OnTouch instead.
