Django vs Node.js

I'm going to write web server, which give users the ability to write some scheme and use "push"-button to send it to server for calculation. Then he will get some graphic results. In future database, user accounts will be added.

I'm trying to choose platforms mainly between django and node.js, because I am familiar enough with python and write some small projects using node.js with express.

I read lot's of forums. People mainly prefer django in ru, but when I switched to en, found out that node.js is more popular. So I'd appreciate it if someone describes experience of using both technologies to solve same task.
